Japan Art Show - Lucia Apparel

I just had my opening night of my Japan Art Show at Lucia Apparel in the Pearl District. This show is a smaller version of my show from last month. It will be hanging for the duration of the month of August. They also carry my abstracted photo jewelry + belt buckles, I made some new ones specific for the show. Lucia has also started carrying my photo note cards of my Japan photos. I absolutely love the ladies at Lucia, they are such huge supporters of my work!!!!

Tarisha + Matt Wedding

I always love photographing downtown in nice weather! Tarisha and Matt were married at the Adrianna Ballroom in Down Town Portland on July 6th, 2008. It was such a beautiful day to wander around the park blocks with the two of them and their bridal party!!!

Tim + Wendie

Some good friends of mine just got married and had me as their photographer, I was so happy to be a part of their wedding (despite the 100+ degrees and no air conditioning at the church!) Congratulations guys and I hope you are having fun on your honeymoon in Disneyland!!

A Night of Japan!

I want to thank everyone who helped to make the night so great!! Paul of Seamless Events for donating his time and lights to the event, Jason for putting together a great playlist for the night, Brenda, Jill and Brandon for making great art that complimented my own work and all the time and effort to make the event what it was, Sean, John + John of the Ace Hotel (The Cleaners), My dad for helping me cut the wood and letting me use his shop, Erin for doing such an excillent job at printing my images to the exact colours, Cori for writing a great article and press release (which was published in the July issue of Portland Monthly), Aileen for taking photos of the event, Rebecca for traveling with me to Japan and being such a great friend and tour guide and of course my love Cade for being the best ever and taking time off of work to help me with absolutely everything for the event!!! Cornelius Pass - McMenamin's

This was my first time shooting at McMenamin's Cornelius Pass Roadhouse. It is such a great place to shoot a wedding, so many spots for fun artsy photos. Congratulations to Megan and Seth!!!
